Allergies, intolerances, and sensitivities, they’re everywhere! it’s so important that we know about them and how we can best cope with them. You can do this by buying an intolerance test. If you have a food allergy, food sensitivity or are experiencing symptoms that are similar to that of a food intolerance then you desperately need to find out the cause so you can stop symptoms.

Understanding the difference

It’s so important that you understand the difference between an allergy and an intolerance. Our mission at Sensitivity Check is to help our customers get one step closer to good health, and what’s the best way to do that? By understanding what’s causing your symptoms and learning how to manage them with an intolerance test. It could simply be a case of removing something from your diet that you didn’t even like anyway, but it could also mean that you have to remove one of your favourites! If it is an intolerance, an elimination diet may only last about six weeks, if it is an allergy, you will have to get rid of this food forever. Make sure you know which one is causing your symptoms.

So, how do you know if you have an intolerance or a sensitivity?

If your body is unable to digest an item properly then it means that you may have a food sensitivity to that particular item. What you should know is that you can develop an intolerance to a food or an environmental factor.

If your body is lacking the necessary digestive enzymes for certain foods, therefore it is unable to digest items properly or take the correct nutrients from it. Find out if your symptoms, which may include a bloated stomach, a headache or a runny nose  Make sure that you are getting enough nutrients in your diet.
